  • Research Outcomes:
Outcome Impact
Developed Large Scale Multimodal Biometric Database. ·      Developed 15 Modalities database Such as Face, Ear, Fingerprint, Iris, Palm, Nail, Knuckle, Hand geometry, Online Signature, offline Signature, Retina, EEG, 3D face, 3D Ear, HRV, of 250 Subject this goes around 80225 images data using high quality sensors.

·      It has more Variety along with Multisession, Multisensor and Multiscenario.

·      Design and develop the algorithms for feature extraction, processing, analysis and recognition for multimodal biometric system through the framed databases.

·      To enhance and augment existing multimodal biometric laboratory into multidimensional multi-hyper-spectral multimodal laboratory by adapting new relevance of the technology for data acquisition, collection and restoration.

Designed Device for Heart Rate Variability (HRV) Measurement as biometric modality.

·      In house development.

·      3 book chapter published in Springer 1) Intelligent system technologies and application”.2) Advanced computing and system for security. 3) Security in computing and communication (2015).

Designed Low cost 3D Scanner ·      In house development of 3D sensor for face data acquisition.
Development of Multimodal Biometric Database Web portal.(www.kvksaplab.com) ·      Database is made available on demand for research scholar working in the domain.
